These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to the UK School of Management ("UKSM", "we", "us", or "our") website at uksm.org.uk and the conditions that apply when you apply for, enrol on, or study one of our programmes.

By using this website or submitting an application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or proceed with enrolment.

UK School of Management is an online college based in London, United Kingdom, offering degree, diploma, and certificate programmes to students in the UK and internationally. Programme availability, entry requirements, fees, and delivery methods are described on our website and in offer letters or enrolment confirmations.

Information on this website is provided in good faith. We reserve the right to update programme details, fees, and schedules where necessary. Material changes affecting enrolled students will be communicated in a timely manner.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, data, or student areas;
• Upload malicious code, spam, or misleading content;
• Copy, scrape, or republish substantial parts of the site without our written permission; or
• Impersonate UKSM, our staff, or other users.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

All content on this website — including text, logos, graphics, course materials, and software — is owned by or licensed to UKSM and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use related to your application or studies only.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written consent, except as permitted by law or expressly allowed within your learning environment.

When you apply or enrol with UKSM, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;
• Submit genuine supporting documents where requested;
• Pay applicable fees in accordance with your payment plan;
• Meet attendance, assessment, and conduct requirements for your programme; and
• Follow our student code of conduct and academic integrity standards.

Our agreement is with you personally. You must disclose any previous exclusion from an educational institution if requested, and any unspent or relevant criminal convictions where required for safeguarding purposes. Failure to disclose material information may result in withdrawal of an offer or termination of enrolment.

Acceptance onto a programme is subject to meeting entry requirements, availability, and our admissions decision. An offer or enrolment confirmation does not guarantee completion or award of a qualification — that depends on satisfactory progress and assessment.

Programme fees, enrolment fees, and any instalment plans are shown on our website or confirmed in writing at the point of enrolment. Unless stated otherwise, fees are quoted in British pounds sterling (GBP).

You are responsible for paying all fees due by the agreed dates. Late or missed payments may result in suspension of access to learning materials, withholding of certification, or referral for debt recovery as set out below.

We reserve the right to adjust fees for future intakes or where exceptional circumstances require. Fees already agreed for your current enrolment will not be increased retrospectively without your consent, except to correct manifest errors.

If you enrol online at a distance, you may have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where these regulations apply, you may cancel your enrolment within 14 days of the date you enter into the contract, provided the programme has not yet started. If the programme begins within that 14-day period, any refund may be reduced to reflect the proportion of the service already delivered.

To cancel within the cooling-off period, notify us in writing at admissions@uksm.org.uk. After the 14-day period, the refund and withdrawal terms in Section 8 apply.

This section sets out UKSM's approach to refunds outside the statutory cooling-off period. It applies to tuition and programme fees unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Withdrawal before the programme starts

If you withdraw before your programme start date, you may be entitled to a refund of fees paid, minus a reasonable administration charge (typically up to 10% of the total programme fee unless otherwise stated in your offer letter).

Withdrawal after the programme starts

• Withdrawal within the first two weeks of the official start date may qualify for a partial refund (typically up to 50% of fees due), unless you are on a short programme as defined below.
• Withdrawal after two weeks from the start date generally does not qualify for a refund, and any outstanding fees remain payable.
• Programmes with a duration of nine months or less are treated as short programmes; no refund is normally given once the programme has started.

Instalment payment plans

If you pay by monthly, quarterly, or other instalment arrangements, refunds are generally not available once instalments have commenced, except where required by law or at UKSM's sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

How to withdraw

All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to admissions@uksm.org.uk. The effective date for calculating any refund is the date we receive your written notice.

Fees are not normally transferable between programmes if you change your mind after enrolment has commenced.

Programme cancellation

If we cancel a programme before it starts due to insufficient enrolment or other operational reasons, we will offer you a place on a suitable alternative where possible. If no alternative is acceptable, you will receive a full refund of fees paid for that programme.

Rescheduling

If we reschedule a programme to a date or format that is not reasonably convenient for you, you may request a full refund of fees paid for that programme.

If you become unable to continue due to serious illness or disability, you may apply for a deferral, credit toward a future intake, or in permanent cases a pro-rata refund. Supporting medical evidence (such as a letter from a qualified medical practitioner) will be required.

Credits issued for deferral are valid for a limited period (typically up to two years) and cannot normally be converted to a cash refund. We are unable to offer refunds for absence due to changes in employment, personal circumstances, or other reasons not related to documented medical incapacity.

Where a student is withdrawn by UKSM due to breach of conduct, attendance, or academic integrity policies, no refund will be given and outstanding fees remain payable.

We aim to deliver high-quality teaching and support. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your programme, please raise the matter with your tutor or admissions team in the first instance so we can try to resolve it promptly.

Formal complaints should be submitted in writing to admissions@uksm.org.uk. We will investigate in accordance with our complaints procedure. Refunds arising from quality concerns are considered on a case-by-case basis and only after we have had a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.

UKSM delivers programmes primarily online. If you require documentation for visa or immigration purposes, you are responsible for ensuring our programme meets the requirements of the relevant authority in your country.

Where visa-related refunds apply under a specific written policy, an administration fee may be deducted and original refusal documentation must be supplied. No refund is normally given where a visa has been granted and used to enter the UK on the basis of UKSM documentation, or where a student withdraws after a visa extension obtained through our support.

Timely payment of fees is essential to maintain our services. If fees are not paid by the agreed date, we will send reminders and may suspend access to learning resources.

Students experiencing financial difficulty should contact us as early as possible to discuss arrangements. Where fees remain unpaid, we may refer the matter to debt recovery services or pursue recovery through the courts. Reasonable recovery costs may be added to the outstanding balance where permitted by law.

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We keep student information securely and do not sell personal data to third parties. We share information only where necessary to deliver your programme, process payments, meet legal obligations, or with your consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UKSM shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or participation in our programmes, including loss of income, data, or business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Website content is provided for general information. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Changes affecting enrolled students will be communicated where appropriate.
